What a French Riviera private tour is
A private tour carries your group and nobody else. On this coast it comes in two forms. The
first is a car with a driver for up to four people, for five hours along either half of the
coast. The second is a boat with its own captain, from two and a half to four hours, for up to
six, seven, eight or eleven people depending on the boat.
The cars start where you are staying. The boats start at their own marinas: the Croisette in
Cannes, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the cape at Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and a small harbour below Èze.
None of them comes to you, so you get yourself to the quay.
Why choose a private tour
Pickup where you ask
The cars collect you from your hotel or an address. One also collects you at the port or the
airport, which suits a cruise day or a travel day.
Nobody else's schedule
On a shared day you wait for eight strangers at every stop. In your own car the only
